Women's Ministries

Faith Christian Center's Women's Ministry
(W.I.N.G.S.) Women In God's Service

The Pastor and the Women's Ministry Leadership would like to invite you to join us for Christ-centered Fellowship and Fun! We have some new and exciting things planned for the year. To start off I would like to introduce myself. My name is Tricia Perkins, I am your new Women's Ministry Leader. It is my honor to serve you.

Our mission this year is...
Is that we will endeavor to learn how to minister to one another and to the world around us. We need to be in a community of believing women to both give of ourselves and receive from others, to challenge and be challenged, to grow and encourage one another in our spiritual journeys and ministries, to rejoice with those who rejoice and to weep with those who weep. To be taught God’s word and be accountable to walk in it, to exercise Spiritual gifts so that the Body of Christ can be built up, and to be the women of God, He intends for us to be in our homes, in the church and in the world.

Our new Name for the Women's Ministry will be "WINGS" W-omen I-n G-od's S-ervice. We will have a Brunch on the last Saturday each month with a few exceptions near holidays.

On the last Friday of each month will have what we will call Friday Fun Night. It will start at 7:00 pm and be in Jeter Hall or the Bridal room depending on the event we are having. On these nights we will be doing things such Cake Decorating, Craft Night, Beauty and Makeovers, Cooking Skills and Recipe Swaps, Women's Health, CPR Skills, Flower Arranging and Church and Community Service Projects and many other fun things.
We would love to fellowship with you, so please come and join us for a wonderful time with other Women of Faith.

The Bible Study from Beth Moore "James, Mercy Triumphs" will start on Tuesday, March 13th @7:00 in the Bridal room. Workbooks will be available in class for $15.00. This is an 7 week class.

For our next meeting, we will be having a Brunch on Saturday, March 31st, @12:30am in Jeter Hall. At this meeting, we will be having a Pasadena Police Officer from the R.A.D. Program come to give a presentation to our ladies. The R.A.D. (Rape Aggression Defense) class is for any women who is at least 12 years old and older. This class will be offered in our gymnasium at a later date (still to be determined). The class will be limited to only 25 women. More details coming soon!
